We are recruiting new players

Due to time restrictions and the time needed to run a football team, manager Christopher Skene has overseen a merger of Castlebrae AFC and Alba AFC.  This was for a variety of reasons, mostly the shortage of players and Chris Skene not being able to dedicate 100% to the club with work and studying.  The team will continue with Alba AFC for now and name changes will take place next pre-season, but for now Castlebrae will be known as Alba AFC.  Chris welcomed the change, and hopefully results will start to follow.  Chris also added that Alba were not the only choice on the table, there was a late offer from a first division side to merge with but Chris had gave his word to Alba and decided to press ahead with the merger between the sides.

The club is still fully recruiting players and contact information will stay the same for contacting the manager.
